VW Diesel Pickup Cheap Tricks
A very informative site by Roger Brown documenting LOADS of repairs, upgrades and other miscellaneous information about VW Rabbit Pickups. This guy is VERY knowledgeable, I highly recommend you visit his site! Most of his articles apply to the Rabbit hatchback! -
VW Diesel Tachometer
Another creation by Roger Brown, this page details his design for an optical tachometer pickup that will drive any (gasoline) tachometer. The pickup consists of an optical sensor (Mounted in the timing cover) That reads an overlay on the Injection Pump timing gear, and a box mounted on the fender.
He provides complete instructions AND has part kits available. -
